About Us

Superior Day Care Center

is a place that has a diverse population,

and caters to all families.

We are conveniently located in the

East New York Section of Brooklyn, New York and endeavor to create a safe environment that will foster each child's development in all areas.

Teachers will help to nurture each child's emotional & educational needs through unconditional love, emotional security,

a sense of opportunity, and creativity.

Secure relationships with responsive, respectful adults provide the basis for all learning.

The purpose of this program is to provide infants from 8 weeks to 18 months old

with a healthy and safe environment where infants can begin their growth. Teachers will help develop a child's basic skills and discovery.

Focuses will be placed on communication,

both verbal & non-verbal

through classroom activities.

Through a low child-to-teacher ratio, each child will receive the attention needed. Bonds between teacher-parent and infant will be encouraged to produce

trusting relationships.

INFANTS

The purpose of this program is to provide a safe exploration atmosphere for children ages 12 months to 3 years old.

Toddlers are a group of explorers!

This program will be geared toward the creative development of a child, as they will be encouraged to try new ways of doing things.

Teachers will develop a curriculum influenced by creativity: activities include music, art, singing,

circle time, and expressions.

Teachers will motivate speech development and socialization of toddlers through facilitating classroom activities and daily opportunities.

TODDLERS

The purpose of this program is to provide opportunities for children

Ages 3 years to 5 years old

to master basic skills for Kindergarten while focusing on social

and emotional development

through learning, creativity,

and cooperation.

The curriculum provides a variety of enriching and stimulating activities.

A creative curriculum is also encouraged including activities (but not limited to) music, language, physical education, academic skills, and creative expression.

An emphasis will be placed on the development of self-confidence, curiosity, self-discipline, and a positive attitude towards school and learning.

Our low child-to-teacher ratios are encouraged to offer children

more individualized instruction

and be better prepared for school.

PRE-SCHOOL

The purpose of this program is to provide working families with

Children Ages 5 to 12 years old

a safe and friendly place for their children to attend after public school.

We provide pick-up services!

Children will be given a healthy snack prior to homework time.

Assistance will be provided for children for the completion of their homework through a mentoring-tutoring program.

Extra tutoring sessions will also be available for children if needed.

A wider variety of games, movies, crafts, and activities will be available upon

the completion of their homework.
